Notas - Johannes' marriage to Catherine apparently produced 4 children, but all members of the family except Johannes and Johann 'Mathias' died in Germany. Those two arrived in Philadelphia on 5 September 1738 aboard the ship Winter Galley.
Johannes later married Barbara Weidenbach and they raised a large family of 12 children in Adams County, Pennsylvania. They are probably the ancestors of the R.J. Chronister and Samuel Chronister found in the 1880 Census (1% sampling) as living in Pennsylvania of parents born in Pennsylvania.
