  Notas	James first met Harriet in a small church (in Arkansas during the Civil War?). Marriage License: Madison County, State of Missouri. Be it remembered that James L. Gentry and Harriet L. Laster were solemnized in the holy bonds of matrimony by me the undersigned minister of the gospel on the 27th day of December, 1866. Pinkney Graham. ... This information bears out the story that Harriet had been married before and that her husband, a certain Mr Laster, had been killed in the Civil War. There were many Lasters/Lasiters living in the neighborhood where Harriet grew up. Now to find which one!
