"The occupation of both Hulans and Raines were with the saw mills and for logging camps along with farming. Henry Hulan died in the saw mill at DeQueen* of a heart attack."

Robert (Bob)Lee Hulan b.Sept. 1, 1868 d. Nov. 6, 1914 in Boswell, Choctaw county, Oklahoma.
Robert Hulan's first marriage was to Rebecca Pagan and They had one child Herbert Alex Hulan which was my great-grandfather.
Robert Hulan's second marriage was to Lula Callenta Crain.They were married February 18, 1896 in Nevada Co Arkansas. She is the daughter of Thomas Crain and Amanda Dunn Crain.
Robert Hulan's parents are William Henry Hulan and Hanna Brown Nancy Levering b. July 19, 1843 in Lancaster, Fairfield Co., Ohio and d. Sept. 29, 1913 in Hugo, Oklahoma (Mt. Olivet Cemetery). She married William Henry Hulan November 10, 1859 in Hot Spring County, Arkansas.

Son of William and Eliza ... Hulan. He served in the Confederate Army.
He was in Company H (City Guard of Camden), 6th Arkansas Regiment
of Volunteer Infantry. He enlisted 24 May 1861 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was paroled 9 May 1865 in Meridian, Mississippi. (From: Gerdes'
Arkansas Civil War Records).
William Hulan died of a heart attack while working at a sawmill.
He was married to Hannah Bell (sic) Nancy Levering.
