  Obituary: "Cheryl Lynn Huffman, 52, Stillwater, Oklahoma, passed from this life Friday, April 29, 2011. Cheryl was born in Oakland, California, March 4, 1959, to Raymond W. Chronister and Hazel (Strader) Chronister. She graduated from High School and attended college for a while. Cheryl was married to Lyle Huffman in Blytheville, Arkansas, on November 25, 1996. She worked as a clerk in the Oklahoma Abstract office for many years. Cheryl whose nickname was “Cookie” loved working with crafts. She was able to build a very detailed doll house with her talent. She also enjoyed raising flowers, and being with her beloved family, especially the grandchildren. Her great attitude and wonderful smile will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father Raymond Chronister and brother Jerry Chronister. She is survived by her husband Lyle Huffman of the home; mother Hazel Rettig; daughters Michelle Wilson and husband Jack of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and special girl Terrie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; mother-in-law Nancy Huffman of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; brother Robert Chronister and wife Judy of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters Janice Jones and husband Pete of Hot Springs, Arkansas, JoAnn Hudgins and husband Brian of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Brenda Chu of Dyersburgh, Tennessee, Debbie McGrew and husband Richard of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Kathy Horner and husband Mike of Trimble, Tennessee, and Lisa Harrington of Hayti, Missouri; 3 grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services for Cheryl will be Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. in the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service Chapel. Rev. Fred Waldrep will officiate. Visitation for Cheryl will be Tuesday, May 3, 2011, from 8:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mobleydodsonfuneralservice.com.
